Trust & safety
Because care only works when you feel safe.
Cura is built on a simple idea: Care should be shared with people you already know and trust.
That’s why we focus on real communities — schools, neighborhoods, and friend networks — not strangers or open marketplaces.
Everything we do is designed to keep families safe, informed, and empowered.
Verified Communities
-Families join by invitation or school affiliation, not open sign-ups.
-Private groups are created for specific communities — your child’s school, your neighborhood, or your circle of friends.
-We use tools like access codes, email filters, and approved rosters to keep each group secure.
Optional Background Checks
-Parents can complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) through trusted government platforms (like eCRC in BC).
-Verified families are clearly labeled, building transparency and confidence.
Real People. Real Profiles.
-Every family shares basic profile info — names, school connection, children’s ages, and neighborhood.
-This isn’t anonymous. It’s about building genuine relationships in your trusted circle.
Clear Scheduling & Fair Exchange
-All care is scheduled and tracked using Cura’s token system.
-You’ll always know who’s watching your child, when, and for how long.
-No surprises. No guesswork.
Safety Tools
-Respect and kindness are at the core of Cura.
-Anyone can report a concern — and our team will respond quickly.
-Families that break the rules or act in bad faith are suspended or removed.
Your Privacy is Protected
-We comply with Canadian privacy laws and never share personal data with third parties.
-Messaging, scheduling, and care coordination happen securely inside Cura — not over email or text.
